Be quiet, we’re breathing !

Dear Golden Care Member,

How are you feeling today?

When you are not working, how do you spend your free time?  This period of confinement is also the time to connect with your energy by engaging in new activities! Discover new passions! But “Which ones?” you might say.

How do you occupy your free time with “nothing” when you are at home and most public activities have ceased.

What if I were to propose an article on meditation?  Today is the ideal time to take care of our wellbeing. Take advantage of the time you have been given by refocusing on yourself through meditation.

Here are some articles that may help you:

The different meditation practices

What is meditation? How do you practice it? This article explains different meditation practices, their benefits and the frequency to practice. So let yourself be guided by the one that suits you best, practice regularly and enjoy the benefits!

Meditation, a complement to traditional medicine

You may not know it, but meditation has benefits not only for your mind: stress reduction, stimulation of your brain, but also for your body: pain relief. How about reducing our aches and pains?

Inhale, exhale!

And for those who find it difficult to find their breathing rhythm during meditation, I recommend this free application “RespirRelax”.   Choose the number of breaths per minute, the desired effect (balance, relaxation or dynamics) and even the duration of your exercise, the drops of water (symbolizing the measure of time) to help you find the rhythm you need. Don’t hesitate to close your eyes and enjoy the rhythm of breathing with the aid of specially chosen music.

Take the time to breathe, take care of yourself.

Amandine,

Your mood companion
